DRESS CODE

Our dress and appearance standards are meant to uphold a standard of consistency and excellence. Students enrolled at The Rock School should remember that they represent at The Rock School and their families  whether at school or away. This  code was developed to encourage  students to become contributing members to the community and promote self-pride, good character and self-respect.

 

Boys Pants: Black, Navy Blue, Denim Jeans or Khaki  slacks. Pants must be modest, loose-fitting and in good repair.  Pants must not be made of stretch fabric.  They are not to be form-fitting or otherwise immodest in appearance. No cargo styles . No joggers or sweat pants or basketball shorts.

Girls Skirts or Jumpers: Black, navy blue, denim, or khaki. Girls skirts/jumpers are to be knee length or longer.

Girls Pants: Black, Navy Blue, or Khaki  slacks. Pants must be modest, loose-fitting and in good repair.  Pants must not be made of stretch fabric.  They are not to be form-fitting or otherwise immodest in appearance. No capri styles. (No cargo style). No joggers. No leggings, jeggings, sweatpants or basketball shorts.

All students must wear  The Rock School uniform shirt.  Shirts must be clean and have no holes, tears, or cuts; otherwise the shirt must be replaced. Shirts must be tucked in at all times.

  • Any undershirts (example: t-shirts or layered shirts) should be tucked in.

  • Socks for boys and girls may be white, black or grey.

  • Athletic shoes or dress shoes may be worn, any of which must be closed toe.

  • For cooler months students may wear school jackets. The colors are maroon, grey and black. NO LARGE LOGOS except for The Rock School. *No hoods are to be worn in the building.

  • School uniform is to be worn from time of arrival on campus to the end of the school day.

  • All clothing must be modest, neat, and clean.

  • All clothing must have a traditional fit. Oversized, tight or short styles are not permitted.

  • All pants must have belt loops and belts must be worn daily. Belts should be black or brown. Oversized or large “FAD” belt buckles are not permitted. Sagging pants are also not permitted.

Shirts can only be ordered through  the school office and we will have them in stock throughout the year. Order forms will be made available under the Resource tab.
